Job summary

AbbVie in Mexico City seeks a field-based Medical Science Liaison to engage researchers, healthcare professionals and payers in a strictly scientific, non-promotional manner, providing medical information and supporting AbbVie medicines and development programs.

You will develop interaction plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliant communications, and promote high standards of scientific integrity while advancing education in oncology and related disease areas.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific field, preferred.
• Solid knowledge of pharma and Medical Affairs roles.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical research and regulatory controls.
• Ability to learn new subject areas quickly.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with thought leaders.

Responsibilities

• Represent AbbVie Medical Affairs as the subject matter expert to external experts and HCPs.
• Serve as a point of contact within Medical Affairs for inquiries on AbbVie medicines.
• Develop and execute scientific interaction plans and cycle plans.
• Tier and document external interactions per guidelines and CRS usage.
• Support research and educational initiatives and ensure compliant information sharing.
