AbbVie Inc. is seeking a field-based Medical Affairs professional to engage with scientists, clinicians, and external experts in oncology.

The role focuses on scientific dialogue, information sharing, and non-promotional education about AbbVie medicines and compounds in development, in full regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, develop scientific interaction plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate knowledge transfer

Qualificações

• Advanced degree (e.g. PharmD., MD, PhD) preferred; undergrad with relevant experience considered.
• Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and Medical Affairs objectives.
• Demonstrated expertise in scientific methods for clinical research and regulatory controls.
• Ability to quickly learn new subject areas and environments.
• Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills.
• Strong English language skills (written and spoken).
• High customer orientation and compliance with rules and integrity.
• Experience in Oncology.

Responsabilidades

• Represent Medical Affairs as subject matter expert in assigned TA and territory.
• Serve as point of contact for external experts to provide scientific knowledge and AbbVie medicines.
• Develop and execute scientific interaction and cycle plans; contribute to cross-functional plans.
• Tiering and segmentation of external experts and documenting interactions.
• Facilitate medical and scientific presence in academic centers and support research/educational initiatives.
