Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Planner in San Jose Iturbide, Guanajuato, Mexico to develop inventory strategies and manage inbound supplier activity to align with the production schedule while minimizing obsolete stock. You will collaborate with Production Planning, Procurement and CMS teams to optimize material availability and drive efficiency.

Required: Engineering degree, 2+ years in Supply Chain or planning, SAP APO/PPDS proficiency, Google Workspace skills, and good English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning or Supply Network Planner.
Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
Intermediate-advanced English level.
Strong knowledge of SAP System and APO/PPDS.

Responsibilities

Develop relationship with material suppliers to establish regular ordering and maintain in-stock levels.
Use SAP tools to identify and mitigate material shortages or SLOB scenarios.
Collaborate with Production Planning to adjust schedules and address material shortages.
Support master data upkeep and SAP utilization to optimize planning and define safety stock, MOQ, and lot size strategies.
Support global inventory coverage optimization and month-end finished goods reporting.
