Job summary

Bright Machines is seeking an integration engineer to support robotic cells and automation equipment on customer sites. You will assist mechanical, electrical and pneumatic assembly, report progress, and align design with deployment plans.

The role requires on-site work at customer locations with extensive travel outside Mexico. A degree in engineering and strong technical skills are essential, along with English proficiency (B1/B2) and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• High technical skills in mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Service attitude is a MUST.
• Ability to assemble, repair and maintain robotic controllers and automation equipment.
• Experience with SolidWorks, eDrawings and AutoCAD.
• Experience handling workshop tools (lathe, milling, drilling).
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical diagrams.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Good communication skills and troubleshoot capabilities.
• No travel restrictions; Passport and USA visa preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical, mechanical and pneumatic schematics.
• Assemble robotic cells and automated equipment.
• Follow up on mechanical/electrical/pneumatic design during deployment.
• Provide progress reports using administrative tools (e.g., Gantt, Excel, Jira).
• Develop assembly plans based on design information.
• Support installation and deployment plans.
• Update process documentation and budgets.
• Maintain design layout and facilitate continuous improvement.
