Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a senior financial planning leader for Mexico and LATAM. This role drives budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls across regional operations, partnering with executives to ensure robust financial reporting and system integrity.

The position focuses on precision in forecasting, SOX compliance, and efficient use of SAP/Sigma/BPC tools to support executive presentations and strategic decisions. Hybrid work in Mexico City is available.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, accounting, reporting, and SOX controls management.
  • Experience with SAP, BPC, Sigma.
  • Knowledge of CP financial policies: accounting, balance sheet, and reporting.
  • Experience managing procurement and payment platforms such as Ariba, Taulia, and B2B portals.
  • Experience in financial closing and balance sheet management.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and AI to optimize the financial reporting.
  • Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

  • Direct end-to-end preparation, consolidation, and official reporting of budgets, latest estimates (LEs), and financial statements for LATAM markets (Mexico and export countries).
  • Manage monthly and quarterly NVO and A&P expenditure reviews, performance tracking, adherence monitoring with business partners, and financial reconciliations, including the Hill's Division.
  • Coordinate regional SOX compliance by updating design and assign responsibilities, enforcing cycle deadlines, and co-leading internal controls, due diligence, and contract reviews.
  • Supervise manual payment processes, administer financial portals (Taulia, B2B, Ariba), and co-coordinate functional expenditure training across the organization.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key financial systems (BPC, BWP, Sigma, CSIP, and SAP), ensuring accurate data entry, system alignment, and reporting figures for MRE and executive presentations.

Role Summary:
