Job summary

Vertiv in Tijuana is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead NPI initiatives and manage mechanical and electrical projects from inception to market launch.

You will supervise design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover, coordinating with clients and contractors to ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.

A strong focus on safety, integrity, and collaboration is expected as you mentor teams and drive continuous improvement across functions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role is essential.
• Ability to lead and mentor across a functional team environment.
• Commercially focused and outcome-driven.
• Self-motivated with strong workload management for large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI projects and manage cross-functional teams from concept through market launch.
• Oversee mechanical and electrical projects from inception, design review, costing, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover.
• Provide weekly supervision of the project/technical team from design to completion and handover.
• Maintain overall responsibility for project and technical team performance, labor control and coordination.
• Attend site/client meetings to monitor progress within the program and manage contractors.
• Handle internal procurement, requisitioning and ensure a complete audit trail of manufacture and delivery to site.
• Interface with project contractors to scope and deliver the required product and documentation.
• Monitor progress, expenditures and cost control; ensure all aspects of project are financially managed.
