OmniOn Power Matamoros, S.A. de C.V. seeks an experienced NPI Manager to lead industrialization and introduction of new products into the Matamoros manufacturing plant, ensuring on-time launches with required quality, cost, capacity, and performance.

You will lead cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Quality, Materials, SCM, Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Finance, and Program Management to ensure products are production-ready before launch.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• MBA, Master’s degree, or Project Management certification is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, NPI, or program management; 3+ years leading NPI or cross-functional projects.

Responsabilidades

• Lead NPI execution across transfers, manufacturing readiness, and production launch.
• Manage cross-functional teams: Engineering, Operations, Quality, Materials, SCM, Finance, and Program Management.
• Identify and mitigate risks impacting launch timing, capacity, cost, or commitments.
• Oversee Design for Manufacturing/Assembly/Test and prototype/pilot builds.
• Drive ramp-up and capacity planning to meet customer requirements.

The New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager is responsible for leading the successful industrialization and introduction of new products into the manufacturing plant. This position owns the NPI process from initial product transfer through production launch and stabilization, ensuring that new products are introduced on time, at the required quality, cost, capacity, and manufacturing performance levels.

The NPI Manager leads cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Quality, Materials, Supply Chain, Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Finance, and Program Management to ensure that products are fully prepared for production before launch.

The position serves as the primary plant-level leader for NPI execution and is responsible for identifying and eliminating risks that could impact product launch timing, manufacturing readiness, capacity, quality, cost, or customer commitments.

This position reports to the Plant Manager and will be based in Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

Eligibility Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• MBA, Master’s degree, or Project Management certification is preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, NPI, or program management.
• Experience: 3+ years leading NPI or cross-functional manufacturing projects.
• Fluent English Verbal / Written.
• Knowledge of SMT, automated assembly, electrical testing, automation, MES, ERP, and manufacturing data systems is preferred.
