Trimble Inc. in Mexicali is seeking a Manager to lead North America General Ledger, streamline close processes, and drive financial excellence in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.

You will manage a team of accountants, coordinate with finance leadership, ensure SOX controls, and deliver monthly reporting while upholding GAAP and strong ethics.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 10+ years of accounting experience.
• Proven management experience overseeing an accounting team.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Highly organized with ability to meet deadlines.
• Skilled at resolving conflicts and facilitating decisions.
• Strategic yet operational mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Manage general ledger close activities within the ERP system.
• Oversee accounting team: review processes, journal entries, reconciliations.
• Coordinate with finance leadership for fluctuation analysis and reporting.
• Manage SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors for audits.
• Prepare monthly financial and management reporting packages.
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures guiding financial decisions.
• Interact with Cost Accounting, Corporate Accounting, US Controllers, International Controllers.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping our North America financial operations, directly influencing process improvements and leading a talented team of accountants to transform how we manage global general ledger activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the general ledger close activities within the ERP accounting system
• Manages team of accountants including review of processes, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Coordinate with financial leadership for account fluctuation analysis and other required reporting
• Manage SOX compliance and key controls for areas within general accounting
• Serve as a liaison with Internal and External Auditors for annual audit and quarterly audit schedules preparation.
• Prepares monthly financial and management reporting packages
• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
• Key Organizational Interfaces:
• Cost Accounting
• Corporate Accounting
• US Controllers
• International Controllers

Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 10 years of accounting experience
• Prior proven effective management experience overseeing an accounting team
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent knowledge of GAAP
• Highly organized and able to perform under strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
• An excellent facilitator who is experienced in resolving conflicts between different parties to a dispute
• A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation and detail oriented perspective
• An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image

Bonus Points For

• Hands-on experience with Oracle and NetSuite ERP platforms
• A valid CPA certification or an MBA.
