is offering an Engineering Rotational Program designed to develop high-potential early-career talent. You will rotate every six months across Technical Sales, Quality, Application Engineering, Product Engineering, and Design Engineering, gaining cross-functional exposure, business acumen, and technical expertise. The program prepares you for greater responsibility while supporting PHINIA's long-term capability needs in key technical areas.

Formación

  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2–3 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of process development and automotive supplier sector.
  • Desirable: APQP/PPAP/PFMEA certification and lean tools.

Responsabilidades

  • Participate in technical and continuous improvement projects.
  • Analyze data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reach goals.
  • Prepare reports and technical documentation for decisions.
  • Develop technical knowledge of products and manufacturing processes.
  • Present biannual project status updates to senior leadership.

Job purpose

Establish a structured engineering rotational program aimed at developing high‑potential early‑career talent and building a sustainable pipeline for critical engineering roles. Through six‑month rotations across Technical Sales, Quality, Application Engineering, Product Engineering, and Design Engineering, participants gain cross‑functional exposure, business acumen, customer insight, and technical expertise. This accelerated development approach prepares future engineering professionals to assume roles of greater responsibility while supporting the organization’s long‑term capability and succession needs in key technical areas.

Key responsibilities
  • Participate in technical and continuous improvement projects within each assigned functional area.
  • Analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and propose technical solutions to support business and engineering objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve business and engineering goals.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and technical documentation to support decision‑making processes in partnership with the responsible teams.
  • Apply problem‑solving methodologies and quality tools to address operational and technical challenges.
  • Monitor and follow up on corrective actions, projects, and assigned activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Adhere to company standards regarding safety, quality, and the Code of Conduct.
  • Develop technical knowledge of products, manufacturing processes, and customer requirements.
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and business opportunities in collaboration with the Fleet and Sales teams, communicating relevant insights to the Engineering organization.
  • Participate in training, mentoring, and professional development activities.
  • Present biannual project status updates to senior leadership, communicating progress, key milestones, results achieved, and any identified deviations from established objectives.
What we’re looking for
Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience

2 – 3 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.

Technical Knowledge Required
  • Knowledge in Process Development Product.
  • Knowledge of engineering/manufacturing functions within the automotive supplier industry.
  • Previous experience managing projects.
Competencies
  • Problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and motivate others and build effective teams.
Desirable Core Tools training/certification (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, etc.)
  • APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, etc.
Desirable knowledge of lean tools (VSM)
  • VSM.
Desirable Skills in Development of Data Analysis
  • Development of Data Analysis.
Desirable knowledge in analysis of failures, deviations, opportunities for improvement and Market Intelligence
  • Analysis of failures, deviations, opportunities for improvement and Market Intelligence.
Other Requirements
  • English Level: Proficient.
  • Travel Availability: 50% of time.
