Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for New Products to lead launches from prototype to full production, coordinating industrialization, process development, and validation across engineering, quality, production, and supply chain.

You will drive NPI project plans, implement cost-reduction opportunities, support PCB assemblies and electronic samples, and ensure ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance while delivering on-time readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Advanced English communication skills (spoken and written).
Minimum 3 years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) within electronics manufacturing.
Experience in the automotive industry is desirable.
Strong knowledge of PCB assembly processes (SMT, wave soldering).
Experience implementing ECO/ECN changes.

Responsibilities

Attend product development team meetings and provide technical manufacturing support.
Lead and coordinate new product launches from prototype builds through full-volume production.
Serve as the technical focal point during new product implementation and manufacturing readiness activities.
Develop and execute NPI project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
Support process validation activities for new PCB assemblies and electronic product samples.
Identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs and improve efficiency.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and status updates for management review.
Monitor launch performance metrics and drive actions toward production readiness.
