Cloudsufi seeks a hands-on Network Security & Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security across network, cloud, and application environments. This role is 100% remote for candidates based in Mexico.

You will work with Cloudflare, WAF, Terraform-based IaC, and vulnerability scanners (Trivy, AWS Inspector) to identify and remediate security risks, while aligning with governance, risk, and compliance practices and application security testing (SAST/DAST/SBOM/PII).

Formación

• Hands-on security controls across network, cloud and apps.
• Cloudflare, WAF, rate limiting, IDS, DNS management.
• Terraform-based IaC for security infrastructure.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize security controls.
• GRC: risk assessments, audits and compliance.
• Vulnerability scanning with Trivy and AWS Inspector.
• SAST/DAST, SBOM, PII scanning; Snyk or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement network and cloud security controls.
• Lead vulnerability management across environments.
• Ensure security policies and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate GRC activities and audits with stakeholders.
• Implement SAST/DAST and SBOM processes.
• Remediate identified security risks promptly.

Job Description: Network Security & Cloud Security Engineer

Location: 100% Remote – Mexico

Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Network Security & Cloud Security Engineer with strong practical experience implementing, managing, and maintaining security solutions across network, cloud, and application environments.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

• Network Security (Highest Priority)
• Hands-on experience implementing and managing Cloudflare, WAF, rate limiting, IDS, and DNS management.
• Practical experience developing and managing Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize network security controls.
• Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
• Hands-on experience conducting risk assessments, managing security controls, audits, and compliance activities.
• Experience implementing and maintaining security policies and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with Trivy and AWS Inspector for vulnerability and security scanning.
• Practical experience identifying, assessing, and remediating cloud security risks.
• Application Security
• Hands-on experience implementing SAST, DAST, SBOM, and PII scanning.
• Practical experience using Snyk or similar application security tools.

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience in the financial services, banking, or fintech industry.

Work Model: 100% Remote – Candidates must be based in Mexico.
