Job summary

Corus Consulting an Alten Company is seeking a seasoned Network Security professional for a fully remote role based in Mexico. You will govern firewall configurations, review rule bases, and lead remediation efforts to support audits and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in network security, experience with major firewall platforms, and strong collaboration with risk and compliance teams. Proficiency in automation and SIEM/Ticketing tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network security with focus on firewall governance.
• Experience reviewing firewall rules across leading platforms.
• Experience supporting remediation activities and audits.
• Knowledge of GRC processes and risk-based controls.
• Automation, scripting or AI-assisted security operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage firewall configurations and hardening to reduce risk.
• Perform firewall rule reviews and recertifications for compliance.
• Support audit remediation including evidence collection and tracking.
• Collaborate with regulatory, risk and compliance teams to address findings.
• Leverage automation and tooling to optimize rulebases and workflows.
