Global Enterprise Partners is seeking a Network Engineer to join a client in the Food Processing Industry. This role will provide 1st and 2nd line networking support, troubleshoot network-related issues, and assist with the maintenance and optimisation of enterprise network environments.

Location: Queretaro, Mexico; Start ASAP. Duration: 6+ months with extensions up to 3+ years. On-site 2 days per week. Contract type: Freelance/Independent Contractor. Rate is open; please share your expectations.

Formación

• CCNA certification required; CCNP is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, 802.1X, TACACS+, SMTP.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco switches, routers and wireless AP.
• Experience in enterprise-scale routed and switched networks.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools SNMP and SolarWinds.

Global Enterprise Partners is looking for a Network Engineer to join a client within the Food Processing Industry. This role will provide 1st and 2nd line networking support, troubleshoot network-related issues, and assist with the maintenance and optimisation of enterprise network environments.

Requirements for Network Engineer role:

• Strong knowledge of network protocols and services, including DNS, DHCP, 802.1X, TACACS+, and SMTP.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking hardware including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Knowledge of Cisco solutions such as Catalyst Center, ThousandEyes, and ISE is advantageous.
• Knowledge of network monitoring and analysis tools such as SNMP and SolarWinds.
• Experience working within enterprise-scale routed and switched network environments.
• Knowledge of wireless infrastructure including controllers and access points.
• CCNA certification required; CCNP is considered a plus.
