Unisys in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking a Network Operations–oriented professional to support small to mid-sized projects and translate client needs into actionable requirements across business, application, and technical domains.

The role involves coordinating testing, working with development teams on enhancements, and performing troubleshooting within data center, NOC, and SOC environments. CCNA/CCNP certifications are valued.

Formación

• Networking and security experience with Cisco devices and Meraki.
• Proficient in cloud and network security platforms like SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Infoblox.
• Strong knowledge of network monitoring and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL).
• Experience in data center, NOC, and SOC environments.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provides Network Operations support for small / medium projects.
• Interprets client and business needs into requirements across business, applications, systems, and operations.
• Develops system requirements, including process flows and use cases.
• Determines impact on existing applications and databases based on requirements.
• Collaborates with technical teams to address requirements in solution design.
• Coordinates testing of new features and bug fixes with test plans and UAT.
• Works with development teams to implement enhancements with minimal client impact.
• Performs troubleshooting of technical and business processes.
• Participates in peer review of solution design documentation.
• Reviews vendor documents to ensure solutions meet company requirements.
• Identifies, researches, and resolves discrepancies in analytical procedures.

What success looks like in this role:

• Provides Network Operations support for small / medium projects.


• Works with Network Operations team members to interpret client and business needs and translate them into business, application, system, technical and operational requirements.


• Develops system requirements, including process flows and use cases.


• Determines impact on existing applications and databases based on requirements.


• Works with technical colleagues to ensure all requirements are addressed in solution design.


• Coordinates the testing of new features and bug fixes, developing test cases and plans and performing user acceptance testing.


• Works with development teams to complete implementations / enhancements with minimal impact to clients.


• Performs troubleshooting of technical and business processes.


• Participates in peer review of solution design documentation.


• Reviews vendor documents to determine if vendor solutions meet company requirements.


• Identifies, researches, and resolves discrepancies in analytical procedure or cross-functional methods.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Networking & Security Protocols: Experience with network devices, Cisco and Cisco Meraki.


• Technical Competencies: Proficient in cloud and network security platforms like SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Infoblox, etc.


• Strong knowledge in network monitoring tools and optimization techniques.


• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).


• Experience in handling data center, NOC, and SOC environments.


• Certifications: CCNA or CCNP.
