We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network Engineer to oversee, optimize, and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure across manufacturing and operational plants in Mexico (MX) and North America (NA).

The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end network operations across multiple sites, administering Cisco infrastructure, proactively monitoring systems using Zabbix and ELK, resolving operational incidents, and collaborating on global IT projects to ensure high availability and robust security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant Network Administration & Configuration: Lead deployment, administration, and ongoing configuration of network hardware and protocols across MX and NA facilities.
• Proactive Monitoring & Preventative Maintenance: Monitor network health, performance metrics, and security events to prevent downtime.
• Incident Management & Problem Resolution: Act as primary technical contact for network incidents, performing root-cause analysis and Level 2/3 troubleshooting.
• Global Project Participation: Support corporate IT initiatives, infrastructure rollouts, migrations, and security updates.
• Site Support & Mobility: Travel between plants for hardware upgrades, site surveys, and emergency replacements.

Required Qualifications

• Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Hands-on administration of Cisco Switches (Catalyst/Nexus), Routers, WLC, AP deployments, NGFW/Firepower/ASA, and Cisco ISE.
• Advanced knowledge of monitoring platforms (Zabbix) and log analysis (ELK Stack).
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and willingness to travel regionally.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security).
• Familiarity with OT/IoT networking in industrial environments.
• Experience with scripting/automation tools (Python, Ansible).

This role requires active presence and mobility across manufacturing facilities. Candidates must have reliable personal transportation to support critical infrastructure on-site.
