As a Supplier Technical Assistant (STA) engineer, you will be responsible for industrializing and managing the "Quality" and "Capacity" of commodities at Tier 1 Supplier sites during the launch of new model programs and in-series production. This includes working on Exterior Lighting Hardware and Electronics, ensuring that we source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe while maintaining optimal costs and on-time delivery. Your role will involve collaborating closely with suppliers to establish a robust supply chain that supports the continuous production of vehicles that meet customer demands. You will be tasked with overseeing the quality assurance processes and capacity management at supplier locations, ensuring that they meet Ford\'s stringent standards.
This position requires flexibility to travel within North America, Mexico, and Canada, with travel expectations of up to 3-4 days per week, depending on your assigned supplier site locations.
