Benchmark Gensuite in Aguascalientes, MX is seeking a Project Management Associate (Risk Management) to support end-to-end IT project delivery across DevOps and software development. This role focuses on risk management, budget adherence, and quality standards within an IT Platform initiative.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, create and maintain project plans, identify risks, and help shape QA strategies.

Formación

• 1–2 years of IT/DevOps project execution, including risk, resources, and QA.
• Familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud-based client-server models.
• SQL and databases familiarity preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ability to collaborate across cultures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cross-functional teams to drive IT, DevOps, and software projects through full lifecycle.
• Serve as point of contact and project facilitator among team members.
• Create and maintain a project plan with scope, milestones, tasks, status, and resources.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Assist technical teams in breaking down project tasks.
• Develop a QA strategy and Testing Plan.
• Coordinate production releases to meet timelines and QA standards.
• Report progress to upper management and stakeholders on planning, risk, resourcing, financials, QA.

Job Overview

As a Project Management Associate, you will support internal end-to-end management of projects & risks, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality standards. Utilizing your expertise in IT, Dev Ops and SDLC methodologies, you will manage risks, resources, and quality assurance processes while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation. With excellent communication skills and passion for project management, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our IT Platform and Software Development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional and cross-company teams to define and drive strategic projects and initiatives through the entire IT, DevOps & Software Development Project Life Cycle
• Act as the point of contact and project facilitator among the team members
• Create and maintain a project plan that communicates scope, tasks, milestone dates, status, and resource allocation
• Identify risk and manage mitigation plans
• Assist the technical team in designing and breaking down project tasks
• Facilitate the creation of a QA Strategy and Testing Plan
• Coordinate the production releases to meet timeline expectations and QA standards
• Report on progress and provide regular updates to upper management and stakeholders on the different areas as needed: planning, risk, resourcing, financials, QA

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Quality, Risk Management, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline is required, along with relevant industry experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1-2 years of experience managing IT, Dev Ops and Software development project execution; including risk assessment, resource allocation, and quality assurance
• Proficiency in the Software Development Life Cycle and various Software Development Methodologies
• Understanding of the Cloud-based Client-Server Model
• Technical familiarity with databases and SQL query writing is preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-cultural virtual teams
• Demonstrated problem-solving initiative and passion for project management
• Ability to foster team-building and work collaboratively in a diverse environment
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal (C1)
