Benchmark Gensuite is seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer in Aguascalientes, MX, to join our Platform Applications and Components team. You will provide leadership for frontend and backend development, troubleshoot issues, assist with updates, and optimize performance to ensure smooth operation and integration across our systems.

You will mentor junior teammates, participate in design and architecture discussions, and help plan software releases while ensuring quality in collaboration

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience in web application development.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Vanilla JavaScript and jQuery.
• Experience with REST APIs and CRUD operations.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and integrating frontend with backend systems.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer to join our Platform Applications and Components team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and leadership for both frontend and backend development. You will be tasked with troubleshooting issues, assisting with updates, and optimizing performance to ensure smooth operation and integration across our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team in the development and maintenance of JavaScript-based application frameworks and components.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues within the application frameworks, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the application frameworks with other systems and components.
• Optimize the performance of the application frameworks, including improving speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in our core technology stack, and recommend and implement improvements to the existing frameworks.
• Mentor and train junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge to help them grow and develop their skills.
• Participate in the design and architecture discussions, providing technical insights and recommendations to enhance the overall system.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and release notes.
• Assist in the planning and execution of software releases, ensuring a smooth and successful deployment process.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the application frameworks meet the required quality standards and perform thorough testing.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in Software Engineering/Product Development with a focus on web application development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Vanilla JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Solid understanding of DOM manipulation, responsive UI design, and browser-based application development.
• Experience building and maintaining basic web forms, including validation, submissions, and user interactions.
• Hands-on experience working with REST APIs and understanding of HTTP methods such as GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, writing queries, and integrating frontend applications with backend systems leveraging CRUD Operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills for web applications.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with experience working in Agile development environments.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal (C1).
