Job summary

Marelli is seeking a MPF Engineer to join the Manufacturing / Automotive Lighting team, based at our Juarez, MX office (Plant 1). You will coordinate and optimize production processes to ensure timely delivery and efficient use of resources.

You will plan schedules, manage materials and equipment, apply lean methods, monitor performance and ensure quality, working with production, engineering and sales. Marelli offers a hybrid work model and onboarding support to accelerate your impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in manufacturing, engineering, operations management or related field.
• Fluent English.
• Experience in production planning, control, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ERP and production management software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and inventory targets.
• Coordinate with departments to align production capacity with demand forecasts.
• Optimize the use of materials, labor, and equipment to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities to ensure material availability.
• Identify opportunities to streamline production processes and implement lean manufacturing to reduce waste.
• Track production metrics, such as throughput, quality, and efficiency; analyze deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure production processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams; serve as the point of contact for schedules and status.
• Address and resolve production-related problems; investigate root causes and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and changes; prepare reports on production performance.
