Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking skilled candidates for a mold and tool making role in Celaya, Mexico. You will operate CNC and conventional machines, maintain injection molds, and support preventative and corrective maintenance across the manufacturing line.

The position requires hands-on experience with mold maintenance and tooling, plus a collaborative approach to process improvements in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Educational background in mold making or tooling preferred.
• Experience with plastic and aluminum injection molds.
• Ability to read blueprints and operate precision machines.

Manto a moldes, Mold Maker, Tool Maker, Matricero, etc.Conocimientos: Moldes de inyección (plástico, aluminio, SAMAK) y Maquinas Convencionales, manteniendo en óptimas condiciones y siempre disponibles, llevando a cabo los mantenimientos preventivos, correctivos y de mejora de la manera más eficiente.Competencias Conductuales:•Trabajo en equipo•Comunicación efectivaCompetencias Técnicas:•Máquinas Convencionales (Torno, Fresa, Rectificadora, Taladro Radial, CNC, EDM, CMM)•Soldadura TIG, Micro TIG, Eléctrica, Micro alambre.•Proceso Compresión e Inyección de plástico y/o aluminio.•Colada Caliente y Colada Fría, Aceros y tratamientos térmicos•Electricidad, neumática e hidráulica, Pulido de moldes•Uso de herramientas de ajuste manual, Uso de Grúa ViajeraPrincipales tareas y responsabilidades:•Asegurar arranque de equipos y actualización de fechadores de moldes•Aplicar e Implementar Ideas de Mejora en los moldes y/o Proceso•Participar en la generación de planes de acción para reducir tiempos muertos.•Apoyar a los diferentes departamentos en diversas actividades (mantenimiento preventivo, correctivo, mejoras, maquinados, limpiezas).•Cumplir con los planes de capacitación asistiendo a cursos y desempeñándose correctamente.•Llenado correcto del formato “MP10 y Documentos relacionados al Área”.•Realización de mantenimientos preventivos y correctivos de acuerdo al programa establecido•Seguir instrucciones y procedimientos de trabajo para realizar su operación de forma segura.Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
