Job summary

Magna Exteriors, a global leader in automotive exteriors, seeks an Industrial/Mechanical Engineer to drive ergonomics initiatives, BOM governance, and process improvements. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage layout updates, and ensure design and production specs align with customer requirements.

Ideal candidates have 3 years in relevant engineering roles, knowledge of IMDS, SAP, and core tools, plus strong teamwork and communication skills. On-site in Celaya, Mexico.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Industrial or Mechanical fields (desirable).
• 3 years of experience in industrial engineering, process engineering, project engineering, product engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with BOM creation, change control, and plant layout management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Ergonomics System and lead ergonomics committee.
• Develop quotes for new projects with ergonomic perspective.
• Lead corrective action systems with clients (Ford and others).
• Prepare annual ergonomics budgets and coordinate related activities.
• Update plant layout and control changes across projects.
