Job summary

HARMAN Automotive is seeking an entry-level Engineer to support production processes, quality, and safety programs. You will assist with visual aids, process documentation, and labor optimization while upholding HARMAN’s quality standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on involvement in Gemba walks, ergonomics improvements, and continuous improvement projects within a global technology leader in automotive infotainment and safety systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• 1 year of prior engineering experience.
• Demands effort to analyze and diagnose.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing visual aids for the production process.
• Update PFMEA, Flowcharts, JSA’s, etc.
• Check results and analyze situations to optimize labour use.
• Comply with quality systems and environmental management implemented in the company.
• Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through established communication channels.
• Improve ergonomics and safety of workstations.
• Participate in Gemba walks to improve workstations.
• Fabricate, modify and adjust racks, tables, and workstations.
• Support quality and EHSS systems, objectives, targets and programs.
• Be involved in projects coordination and continuous improvement.
• Perform other activities assigned by supervisor.

About the Role

Responsible for the result of indicators: Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Must apply the philosophy of HPS

What You Will Do

• Assist in the preparation of visual aids by station for the production process.
• Update process documentation as PFMEA, Flowcharts, VJI’s JSA’s, etc.
• Check results and perform analysis of the different situations to optimize the use of labor.
• Comply with quality systems and environmental management implemented in the company.
• Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through established communication channels.
• Work in improving the ergonomics and safety of workstations.
• Participate in Gemba walks to improve workstations.
• Fabricate modify and modify racks, tables, workstations, part presentation.
• Participates and provides support related with quality and EHSS systems management, objectives, targets, and programs.
• Be part of projects coordination & continuous improvement.
• other activity assigned by the supervisor.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Basic English (Understanding simple oral or written instructions)
• High School.
• 1 year of prior experience in Engineering
• Demands effort to analyze and diagnose.
