Capgemini Mexico is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead mobile and digital testing for customer-facing platforms. You will define test strategies, validate transactions, and ensure seamless integrations across iOS, Android, and web experiences. The role emphasizes automation, metrics, and collaboration with product, development, and business stakeholders.

You will mentor junior testers, review test results, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in functional testing for mobile and digital applications.
• Strong experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Solid understanding of retail, restaurant, or omnichannel transaction flows.
• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Hands-ons experience with defect and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Experience debugging mobile applications using Xcode, Logcat, ADB, StackTrace, and related diagnostic tools.
• Experience using HTTP proxy and traffic inspection tools such as Charles Proxy or Fiddler.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques for backend testing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
• Validate critical business processes, including customer transactions, promotions, discounts, loyalty programs, returns, refunds, and payment processing.
• Test integrations with payment gateways, inventory management systems, loyalty/rewards platforms, and back-office applications.
• Conduct end-to-end transaction testing covering cash, credit/debit cards, digital wallets, promotional offers, voids, and returns.
• Log, track, prioritize, and retest defects to ensure timely resolution and release readiness.
• Review application logs and diagnose issues using mobile debugging and monitoring tools.
• Validate backend data and transaction processing through database queries and system verification.
• Ensure testing activities align with organizational standards, quality controls, and compliance requirements.
• Create detailed test execution reports, defect summaries, quality metrics, and release recommendations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through automation and process optimization.

Your Role

As a Digital / Mobile Test Lead at Capgemini, you will drive quality assurance activities across customer-facing digital platforms, with a strong focus on mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web-based experiences. You will be responsible for defining and executing test strategies, validating complex transaction flows, ensuring seamless integrations, and supporting high-quality releases across retail and restaurant digital ecosystems.

This role requires hands-on experience in mobile application testing, transaction validation, defect management, and integration testing. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, and third-party vendors to ensure reliable and compliant digital experiences for customers.

Responsibilities & Scope
