Plexus Corp. in Mexico seeks a seasoned Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for maintenance, utilities, and compliance. You will plan preventive maintenance, supervise facilities staff, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime.

The role emphasizes safety, asset reliability, and adherence to ISO standards; experience with capital projects, contractor oversight, and continuous improvement is valued.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician certificate is highly desirable.
• Three (3) years in a managerial or project leader role.
• CFM, CPE or FMP certification is highly desirable.
• Green Belt certification is preferred.
• Knowledge in ISO 9000, 14001, 13485 is preferred.

Purpose Statement:

To foster a safe, sustainable, and efficient work environment for Plexus by leading a team of dedicated professionals in facilities management, maintenance, and strategic planning. Through proactive planning, continuous improvement, and collaboration, I strive to minimize operational disruptions, optimize resource allocation, and contribute to Plexus's long-term growth and success.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Plan, organize and lead preventive maintenance works. Troubleshoot and repairing of facility systems including electrical, HVAC, fire protection system, lighting, plumbing, compressed air, nitrogen, process vacuum, exhaust, process cooling water, DI system, waste water treatment plant and cleanroom operations
• Plan and lead the installation of electrical and mechanical works to support production equipment (SMT line, testers and etc.) in order to meet manufacturing, local regulatory compliance and customer requirements.
• Lead, perform and document preventive maintenance on all facility systems and equipment in order to proactively identify risks related to our ability to effectively deliver on customer requirements and to ensure optimal performance of applicable systems and equipment. Worked closely and follow up with production team to minimize the power consumption within operation areas.
• Provide direction, assistance and support to outside contractors conducting facility and equipment repairs and ensure efficient completion of critical tasks. Lead facilities operation & maintenance team (i.e. janitor, gardener) to provide continuous support on building maintenance, gardening, general work, cleanliness, tidiness 6S in accomplishing operational objectives
• Management of capital expenditure, staffing and planning for facilities maintenance and project implementation. Worked closely with EHS team on the daily operation and ensure facilities systems and operations are compliance with ISO14001 & ISO18000 requirements
• Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
• Journeyman Electrician certificate is highly desirable.
• Three (3) years in a managerial or project leader role.
• Certificate of CFM, CPE or FMP is highly desirable.
• Green Belt certification is preferred.
• Knowledge in ISO 9000, 14001, 13485 preferred.
