Bombardier Mexico seeks a Methods Configuration Agent, Electrical Systems to harmonize the implementation of engineering changes and assembly strategies by working closely with Engineering, Parts Logistics, Quality and Production.

You will coordinate production line configuration changes, provide technical support for configurations and processes, define standard times for costing, document modifications and ensure product integrity in line with design requirements, supporting PRE-FAI/FAI

Formación

  • 1 to 3 years of aerospace manufacturing or related experience.
  • Degree in aeronautical, electromechanical, electrical, industrial or mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge of electrical harness manufacturing.
  • Intermediate level of technical and business English.
  • Proficient in CATIA V5, SAP, Mentor Graphics, and related design/manufacturing tools.
  • Able to collaborate across cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and planning skills.

Responsabilidades

  • Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies with Engineering, Parts Logistics, Quality and Production.
  • Implement, coordinate and prioritize production line configuration changes with robust change-management tracking.
  • Provide technical support of configuration changes and manufacturing processes.
  • Define and incorporate standard times in work instructions for proper costing.
  • Document and promote modifications, standard practices and lessons learned for product integrity.
  • Analyze, plan and implement engineering requirements for test aircraft, configuration options and spares.
  • Ensure tooling and visual aids function in production.
  • Deliver SAE AS9102 documentation for PRE-FAI and FAI according to schedule.
  • Define delivery condition (COS) of materials to enable flexible manufacturing.
  • Participate in governance to achieve project goals and contribute to New Product Development at platform level.

What will be your contribution to the team?
  • Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working in close collaboration with Engineering, Parts Logistics, Quality and Production.
  • Implement, coordinate and prioritize production line configuration changes with robust tracking of change management process activities.
  • Provide technical support of configuration changes and manufacturing processes.
  • Define and incorporate standard times in work instructions to ensure proper product costing.
  • Document and promote modifications, standard practices and lessons learned that ensure product integrity in accordance with design requirements.
  • Analyze, plan and implement engineering requirements for test aircraft, option configurations and spares required by the program.
  • Ensure the functionality of the tooling and visual aids used during the implementation in the production line.
  • Deliver the required documentation (SAE AS9102) for PRE-FAI and FAI according to the process established in the schedule.
  • Define the delivery condition (COS) of the materials that guarantee the flexibility in the manufacturing of the product.
  • Participate in governance and visibility for achieving projects goals: content, scope of work, costs, risks.
  • Participate in New Product Development activities at a Platform level
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge and experience
  • You have 1 to 3 years of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing, Configuration Methods Engineering, or an Automotive Product Engineering environment.
  • You have a degree in Aeronautical, Electromechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have knowledge of electrical harness manufacturing.
  • You have an intermediate level of technical and business English and are able to hold professional conversations.
  • You have knowledge of CATIA V5 (or similar tools such as AutoCAD or CorelDRAW), SAP, Mentor Graphics, DIT-MCO equipment, Publisher, advanced Excel, and Office 365.
  • You are a technical professional who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and is customer-oriented.
  • You are well organized and possess strong planning and problem-solving skills.
