Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a Technologist for Quality Assurance, Receipt in Aerospace Mexico (B.A.M). The role focuses on certifying products at the final stage, maintaining delivery documentation and ensuring conformity with the QMS.

You will review engineering requirements, create and close NCRs, and verify product structures against drawings and process specifications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and using measurement equipment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics, Mechanical Engineering or related.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a production environment.
• 1 year of experience in a quality-related role in manufacturing or assembly.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP, NCMS, Microsoft Project and CATIA are preferred.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Certify the product at the final stage and create delivery documentation.
• Review engineering requirements prior to investigations (NCRs).
• Create and close Nonconformance Reports (NCRs).
• Review products against engineering requirements (FAI).
• Review product structure against drawings and process planning specifications.
• Ensure conformity with QMS and engineering requirements.
• Certify the product once conformity is achieved.

Product Process Delivery

• Certify the product at the final stage and create delivery documentation.

Nonconformance Reports (NCRs)

• Review engineering requirements prior to investigations.
• Create and close Nonconformance Reports.

First Article Inspection (FAI) Reports

• Review products against engineering requirements.
• Review product structure against drawing requirements and process planning specifications.

Conformity Process

• Review information structure to ensure compliance with engineering requirements according to drawings.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Certify the product once conformity requirements have been successfully completed.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in Aeronautics, Mechanical Engineering or related
• You have at least 6 months of experience in a production environment.
• You have 1 year of experience in a quality-related role in manufacturing or assembly manufacture.
• You hold an intermediate proficiency level of English
• You have problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative in team activities.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office; preferred knowledge of SAP, NCMS, Microsoft Project, and CATIA.
• You have knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• You have an strong customer service orientation.
• You have effective communication skills with cross-functional teams.
• You have experience using measurement equipment for electrical systems and structural assembly.
• You have ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
