Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a Technologist, Quality Assurance for Final Assembly - Harnesses to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Mexico. The role focuses on ensuring process and product conformity, supporting continuous improvement, and handling non-conforming materials, all within a global QA framework.

The successful candidate will have a 3–5 year background in aerospace manufacturing, hands-on harness experience, and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience in aerospace or related industry.
• Hands-on experience with electrical harness installation and testing on aircraft assemblies.
• Advanced proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and knowledge of continuous improvement and quality tools.
• Experience using measuring instruments and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and Bombardier specifications.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes and standards.
• Manage and support the disposition of non-conforming material.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives, including Kaizen activities.
• Ensure product and process conformity to regulatory and company requirements.
• Participate in problem-solving activities to eliminate customer-reported non-conformances.
• Support the implementation of improvement projects within your area.
