Job summary

Placements24 seeks an Asesor/a de Desarrollo y Bienestar Juvenil to deliver remote guidance to youth across locations in San Luis Potosí and beyond. You’ll mentor individuals on education, career planning, and personal growth via digital channels.

You will develop online workshops, craft digital content, and connect youth with resources. A Bachelor’s in a related field and 2+ years’ youth experience are required, with strong communication and remote-work skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Youth Development, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Sociology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience working directly with youth in counseling, mentoring, or program coordination roles.
• Proven experience delivering services remotely via video conferencing, chat, and other digital tools.
• Strong understanding of adolescent and young adult development, challenges, and aspirations.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and motivational skills.
• Ability to create engaging online content and facilitate virtual group activities.
• Proficiency with online collaboration tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack).
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time in a remote setting.
• Knowledge of resources available to youth in San Luis Potosí is a plus.
• Passion for empowering young people and fostering growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one virtual guidance and mentorship on education, career planning, skill development, and personal well-being.
• Develop and facilitate online workshops, webinars, and group sessions focused on youth empowerment.
• Connect youth with online resources, opportunities, and support networks.
• Create digital content related to youth development and well-being.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to help youth set and reach goals.
• Maintain confidential records of interactions and progress in online systems.
• Collaborate with the program team to improve service delivery and outreach.
• Stay updated on best practices in youth development and digital engagement.
• Respond to inquiries via email, chat, and video conferencing.
• Contribute to development of new remote support initiatives.
