Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Up to 2 years of engineering, design, or technical experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, fabrication processes, and engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PDM, or similar CAD platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Motivated to learn electrical power equipment design, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
• Effective cross-functional communication.
• Continuous improvement mindset for quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical structures and bussing systems for LV and MV switchgear assemblies.
• Review customer specifications, project requirements, and engineering documentation.
• Utilize CAD and 3D modeling tools to develop product designs and drawings.
• Support manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams in resolving technical issues.
• Evaluate and select mechanical components, fabrication materials, and design solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design efficiency and product quality.
• Support new product development efforts and stay current with emerging industry technologies.
• Provide technical support to customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders when required.
