Michael Page is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of electrical power distribution equipment. The role involves designing mechanical structures and bussing systems, reviewing specs, and using CAD tools for product drawings.

The successful candidate will hold a mechanical engineering degree, have up to 2 years of experience, and show strong analytical and collaboration skills, with a drive to learn electrical power equipment design.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Up to 2 years of engineering/design/technical experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, fabrication processes and fundamentals.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PDM or similar CAD platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design mechanical structures and bussing systems for LV and MV switchgear assemblies.
• Review customer specifications, project requirements, and engineering documentation.
• Utilize CAD and 3D modeling tools to develop product designs and drawings.
• Support manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams in resolving technical issues.
• Evaluate and select mechanical components, materials, and design solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design efficiency and quality.
