Schneider Electric is offering a Mechanical Design Engineer Intern position at Plant 1 MTY in Monterrey. You will support delivering projects from planning to execution and learn how engineering activities translate into manufacturing outcomes.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Design with at least 1 year of design experience, good analytical skills, and solid teamwork. On-site training and real project exposure await.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Design, or related field, graduating December 2027 or later.
• At least 1 year of Design Engineering (3D modelling) experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Interest in manufacturing processes, product design, and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Support customization of low-voltage electrical equipment per customer specs and standard designs.
• Develop and modify 2D and 3D mechanical designs for LVMCC products.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing.
• Participate in continuous improvement and productivity projects to optimize processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide technical support through design, manufacturing, and commissioning activities.
