Schneider Electric is seeking an Electromechanical Engineering Intern for its MDIC office in Apodaca, Nuevo León. You will work with experienced engineers to design, develop, and optimize innovative products and solutions, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of new product design.

The role requires currently pursuing a related Bachelor's degree, English proficiency, and the ability to work 30 hours per week in a structured, collaborative environment.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Expected graduation date: December 2027 or later.
• Interest in learning about new product design processes.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the design, coordination, and assembly of prototypes, including testing using 3D modeling tools.
• Support mechanical and electrical design and development of low-voltage power distribution equipment.
• Assist in the creation and management of engineering documentation such as BOMs, drawings, and specifications.
• Contribute to new product and component design activities.
• Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and documentation engineering teams.

We're currently looking for an Electromechanical Engineering Intern in our MDIC office located in Apodaca, Nuevo León.

What will you do?

• Participate in the design, coordination, and assembly of prototypes, including testing using 3D modeling tools.

• Assist in the creation and management of engineering documentation such as Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and specifications.
• Contribute to new product and component design activities.
• Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and documentation engineering teams.

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Currently pursuing in a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date: December 2027 or later.
• Basic knowledge of design software such as SolidWorks, CREO, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Interest in learning about new product design processes.
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Availability to work 30 hours per week (7:00 am – 2:00 pm or 8:00 am – 3:00 pm).
