Schneider Electric offers a Mechanical Design Engineer Intern position at Plant 1 in Apodaca. You will support delivery activities and learn how projects move from planning to execution, while gaining hands-on experience with mechanical design and manufacturing processes.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's degree in mechanical-related fields, with at least 1 year of design engineering experience and intermediate English. Graduation in December 2027 or later is expected.

Formación

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Design, or related field, graduating in December 2027 or later.
• At least 1 year of experience in Design Engineering (3D modelling).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support customization of low-voltage electrical equipment based on customer specs and standard designs.
• Develop and modify 2D and 3D mechanical designs for LVMCC products.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for equipment manufacturing.
• Participate in continuous improvement and productivity projects to optimize engineering processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide technical support throughout design, manufacturing, and commissioning activities.
