Job summary

Marelli Automotive Lighting in CDMX is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer Mid to join the Engineering Development R&D team, reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager. Based at our CDMX office, you will design complex components for automotive lighting and sensing systems using NX and CATIA.

You will create drawings, follow design guidelines, review styling surfaces, and support multiple cross-functional projects while adhering to quality and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Engineering Design & Development.
• Proficient in CATIA and NX.
• English and Spanish proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support development of automotive lighting and sensing systems and design complex components and assemblies using NX and CATIA.
• Create, update and review drawings in NX and CATIA.
• Follow design guidelines and apply them effectively.
• Review customer styling surfaces and create proposals to enable feasibility of requests.
• Manage company information in the correct database and share with the appropriate groups.
