Crown Holdings, Inc. busca un Mecánico de Taller de Aparatos y Herramental para mantener y reparar una gama de maquinaria, herramientas y equipo. Garantizar la continuidad operativa y la seguridad de las instalaciones de manufactura y mantenimiento.

Se requiere experiencia en diagnóstico de sistemas mecánicos, eléctricos e hidráulicos, lectura de planos y habilidad en maquinado y soldadura. Se ofrece desarrollo profesional y un entorno de trabajo seguro.

Formación

• Técnico en mecánica, industriales o electromecánica o equivalente.

Responsabilidades

• Realizar mantenimiento preventivo en maquinaria y herramientas.
• Diagnosticar fallas mecánicas, eléctricas e hidráulicas con planos y manuales.
• Ejecutar reparaciones y reemplazos de piezas.
• Fabricar o modificar piezas según necesidad.
• Mantener registros de mantenimiento y seguridad.
• Cumplir con protocolos de seguridad como LOTO.

Asegurar que todo el herramental que se instala en las máquinas cumpla con las especificaciones establecidas con base a los requerimientos de operación, políticas y procedimientos definidos para asegurar la continuidad del proceso productivo.

Requisitos

INDISPENSABLE Carrera Técnica en Maquinas y Herramientas Mecánica Automotriz, Industrial, Eléctrica o carrera a fin.

Job Summary

Fabricas Monterrey, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a skilled Mechanic Workshop Appliances and Tooling to maintain, repair, and optimize a wide range of workshop machinery, equipment, and specialized tools. This role ensures the continuous operational efficiency and safety of our manufacturing and maintenance facilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on various workshop appliances including, but not limited to, lathes, milling machines, grinders, drills, welding equipment, presses, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions in workshop machinery and tools using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic equipment.
• Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of worn or defective parts, components, and assemblies for all workshop equipment.
• Fabricate or modify parts as needed using various machining and welding techniques.
• Conduct calibration and testing of tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including LOTO procedures, while performing duties.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new workshop machinery and equipment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to workshop personnel regarding equipment operation and minor troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains related to workshop tooling and equipment.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in mechanical, industrial, or electromechanical maintenance strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic or technician in an industrial or manufacturing workshop environment.
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing a diverse range of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong practical skills in machining (turning, milling), welding (MIG, TIG, Stick), and precision measurement.
• Familiarity with various hand and power tools, as well as specialized diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to industrial machinery and workshop operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various industrial environments.
