Crown busca un Mecánico de Front End para operar y mantener sistemas de frente de vehículos, asegurando rendimiento y seguridad. Se requieren habilidades en diagnóstico y alineación, experiencia en mecánica automotriz y licencia válida.

El puesto reporta al área de Mantenimiento y ofrece desarrollo profesional dentro de Crown. El candidato ideal debe demostrar experiencia en inspecciones, reparaciones y cumplimiento de normas de seguridad, con capacidad para trabajar en equipo y mantener un

Formación

• Se requiere diploma de secundaria o equivalente; formación técnica en mecánica automotriz es preferente.
• Experiencia probada como mecánico frontal o similar.
• Conocimiento sólido de sistemas de frenos y alineación.
• Habilidad para interpretar manuales y diagramas técnicos.
• Capacidad para resolver problemas con atención al detalle.
• Licencia de conducir válida y buen historial.

Responsabilidades

• Inspeccionar, diagnosticar, reparar y mantener sistemas del frente del vehículo (dirección, suspensión y alineación).
• Realizar ajustes de alineación con equipos de precisión para camber, caster y toe.
• Realizar rotaciones de llantas, balanceo y reparaciones necesarias.
• Documentar las inspecciones, reparaciones y repuestos utilizados.
• Cumplir con protocolos de seguridad y procedimientos de la empresa.
• Comunicar problemas y recomendaciones de reparación al asesor de servicio y cliente.

Job Summary

The Front End Mechanic at Fabricas Monterrey, S.A. de C.V. is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of vehicle front-end systems, including steering, suspension, and wheel alignment, to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections of vehicle front-end components, including suspension, steering linkage, ball joints, control arms, and shock absorbers.
• Diagnose mechanical and alignment issues using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Execute repairs and replacements of worn or damaged front-end components, such as tie rods, bearings, bushings, and springs.
• Conduct wheel alignments using precision equipment to ensure correct camber, caster, and toe settings.
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as needed.
• Document all inspection findings, repairs performed, and parts used accurately and thoroughly.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures during vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Stay updated on new vehicle technologies and repair techniques through continuous learning and training.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive mechanics is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a Front End Mechanic or similar automotive technician role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle front-end systems, including steering, suspension, and wheel alignment principles.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools, alignment equipment, and general automotive repair tools.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certification in Steering and Suspension (A4) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.segurar
