Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a skilled Shell Press Operator in Toluca to operate and maintain shell molding machinery, ensuring high-quality production and efficient operation.

The role requires reading blueprints, adjusting setups, and coordinating with engineering and production teams to optimize processes. Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Proven experience as a Shell Press Mechanic or in similar manufacturing roles.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for maintenance and repair.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
• Basic understanding of casting principles and metallurgy is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain shell molding machines, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare sand-resin mixtures according to specifications for shell mold production.
• Monitor molding parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cure time to ensure optimal shell quality.
• Inspect finished shell molds for defects, dimensional accuracy, and surface finish.
• Perform routine maintenance on shell molding equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with shell molding machinery.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize shell design and manufacturing processes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Document production data, maintenance activities, and quality control checks.

Requisitos

Carrera técnica o bachillerato tecnológico en maquinas herramientas, mecánica, electromecánica o afín a procesos productivos.

Job Summary:
