Empresaconfidencial is seeking a Materials Supervisor to lead the material planning team, ensuring timely availability of components and raw materials for manufacturing operations. You will manage MRP signals, monitor inventories, and coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics to prevent shortages and line stoppages.

The role emphasizes optimization of stock levels, adherence to planning parameters, and continuous improvement of planning processes in a high‑mix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3 to 5 years in material planning or related roles.
• Experience in electronics or high-mix manufacturing preferred.
• Experience supervising planning teams is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and planning processes.
• Proficient with Excel and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily material planning team activities.
• Ensure timely release and follow-up of material requirements based on plans and MRP signals.
• Monitor component availability to support production schedules.
• Review and manage inventory levels for optimal balance.
• Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and engineering to resolve material issues.
• Lead shortage meetings and action plans for critical materials.
• Analyze demand changes and forecast variations and their impact.
• Ensure compliance with planning parameters, lead times, safety stock, and MOQ.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate risks as needed.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes in material planning.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data and track delivery dates and material status.
• Develop and track KPIs like inventory turns and schedule adherence.
