Responsibilities cover developing and maintaining material control systems, coordinating with purchasing, production and engineering, and leveraging ERP systems to plan material requirements and production flow.

Qualifications

• Oversees material purchase, control, inventory, shipping/receiving, and stores functions.
• Staffing decisions, training and development, and performance management.
• Develops and maintains material control policies and procedures.
• Coordinates with purchasing, production and engineering for material movement.
• May prepare material requirements using ERP systems.
• Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Manages team activities and staffing decisions.
• Develops, implements, and maintains material control systems.
• Ensures materials are ordered and in stock to meet requirements.
• Plans material schedules and coordinates movement with other departments.
• Assists with production control system establishment.
