dsm-firmenich is seeking a Materials Planning Manager for COL & MEX to lead a cross‑functional planning team across Mexico and Colombia. You will drive material availability, optimize inventory, and ensure supply continuity in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Service, and Commercial teams, with a focus on building talent, reducing risk, and improving KPIs across sites.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years in Materials Planning or related leadership roles in manufacturing.
• Experience across multiple sites is preferred.
• Fluent English required; Spanish not required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop Materials Planning team across Mexico and Colombia.
• Ensure material availability and optimize inventory and working capital.
• Support S&OE and supply planning with cross‑functional partners.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks and implement contingency plans.
• Monitor KPIs and drive standardization and continuous improvement.

As a Materials Planning Manager COL & MEX you will be responsible for lead a high-impact Materials Planning organization across Mexico and Colombia. Drive material availability, inventory optimization, and supply continuity in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Partner with cross-functional leaders to solve complex supply chain challenges. Develop talent, influence strategic decisions, and help shape the future of our operations.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Materials Planning team across Mexico and Colombia, ensuring alignment with business objectives and service level targets.
• Ensure material availability to support production while optimizing inventory levels and working capital.
• Support S&OE and supply planning execution through close collaboration with Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Service, and Commercial teams.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks, implementing contingency plans to minimize disruptions to operations and customers.
• Monitor and improve planning KPIs, including inventory, service level, material shortages, and forecast adherence.
• Standardize planning processes and promote continuous improvement initiatives across both sites.

You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Materials Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain leadership roles for Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage or Cosmetic industry.
• Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment, preferably across multiple sites.
• Fluent English required.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced planning tools is highly desirable
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage complex supply scenarios.
