dsm-firmenich en Toluca, México, busca un Material Planner para gestionar y optimizar la compra de materiales, manteniendo KPIs de servicio, inventario y pérdidas. Liderar el forecasting de materias primas para sitios de producción en Norteamérica y coordinar con proveedores para asegurar suministro a tiempo.

Se requieren 2–3 años de experiencia en planificación de materiales o logística, título universitario y dominio de Excel y SAP; se valoran inglés y español avanzados.

Formación

• 2 a 3 años de experiencia en planificación de materiales o logística.
• Excel avanzado con tablas dinámicas.
• Inglés y español avanzados.

Responsabilidades

• Creación de órdenes de compra para cubrir la demanda de materiales.
• Monitorear requisiciones de compra con fecha de liberación pasada.
• Analizar y actuar ante alertas de crisis de materias primas.
• Mantener parámetros de planificación actualizados (ad hoc).
• Dar seguimiento a confirmaciones de fechas de entrega con proveedores.
• Monitorear órdenes de compra con entrega pasada para acción necesaria.
• Confirmar ventas al equipo CX para materiales de comercio.
• Contribuir a controlar KPIs de planificación.
• Apoyar seguimiento y cierre de no conformidades de proveedores.
• Escalar temas que afecten continuidad del negocio y KPIs de planificación.
• Proporcionar forecast a proveedores externos.
• Solicitar revisión a Calidad de materias primas cercanas a vencer.

Descripción del trabajo - Material Planner

As a Material Planner you will be responsible for Manage, maintain, and improve the procurement of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods while keeping the KPIs of the area under control. (service level, inventory level and inventory losses). Additionally, this role is responsible for leading the raw material forecasting process for the North American production sites, communicating forward-looking forecasts to suppliers, and executing timely follow-ups to ensure reliable, on-time, in-full material supply.

Your key responsibilities

• Creation of Purchase Orders to fulfill demand requirements for procured materials, considering the demand, stock level
• Monitor purchase requisitions with release date in the past (weekly).
• Analyze and take action to solve the raw material crisis alerts (daily).
• Keep planning parameters up to date (adhoc).
• Follow-up on delivery date confirmations with external suppliers and act on the missing confirmations (daily).
• Monitor purchase orders with delivery date in the past to take action if needed and keep system updated(daily).
• Confirm sales order to CX team for trading materials (daily).
• Contribute to keep Planning KPIs under control (daily).
• Support follow up and closure of Supplier Non-Conformances (ad hoc).
• Escalate the issues that could impact business continuity and/or planning KPIs (ad hoc).
• Provide forecast to external suppliers (ad hoc).
• Request re-birth to the Quality team of raw materials close to expire (ad hoc).

You Bring

• 2 to 3 years of experience as Material Planner, Demand Planner or in the logistic area.
• Bachelor Degree (Titulado)
• Excel (pivot tables)
• SAP - desirable
• English and Spanish advanced
