Job summary

Flex Guadalajara is seeking a Materials Planning Manager to lead the materials planning function, balancing supply and demand to optimize inventory and service levels. This role reports to the Director of Materials and focuses on strengthening production schedules and KPI-driven performance across the plant.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in production planning within manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and expertise with SAP/Oracle/JDE ERP systems, plus advanced Excel and Power BI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related.
• 5+ years in Production Control/Planning or related fields.
• Experience in managing production schedules and KPIs.
• Experience in manufacturing environments with cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced English communication with global stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and KPI analysis experience.
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP/Oracle/JDE.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs team in finished goods and WIP planning execution.
• Aligns production schedules with material availability and customer demand.
• Monitors production performance and identifies risks to schedule attainment.
• Develops dashboards to track KPIs for manufacturing and supply chain.
• Coaches and mentors planning team; drives performance management.
• Coordinates with Production, Materials and Purchasing to execute the plan.
• Maintains accurate forecast and production plans with cross‑functional input.
