TE Connectivity Corporation is seeking a Materials Planning Analyst III in Hermosillo to lead material flow, scheduling, and inventory control for designated areas. The role requires close collaboration with production and plant support teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimal costs.

The candidate will manage production orders, perform MRP checks in SAP, and drive continuous improvement to meet customer service requirements while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Formación

  • 3+ years of experience in MRP, supply planning, or related SCM functions.
  • Experience with SAP and MS Office.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization with multicultural teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • English fluent; local language is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Job Description:

Job Overview

The Planner is responsible for the planning, day-to-day scheduling, and material flow for their designated area of responsibility, including material and capacity planning activities, managing work orders, creating and releasing factory production orders, and maintaining appropriate inventory levels. This role plays an important role for enabling on time production and on time delivery to the customer to meet customers’ expectation.

Job Requirements

Responsible for production planning, scheduling and inventory control by using SAP. Interface closely with Production and all plant support groups to ensure activities are defined accurately and executed effectively.
Partner with production to develop a Production plan or HEIJUNKA that meets customer service requirements while maintaining minimum inventory and optimal manufacturing cost.
Monitor the production output on daily basis and make sure it meets the plan and highlight any discrepancies.
Creates and releases Production Orders with awareness of customer request dates, component and capacity availability, and any other resource issues needed to support on-time delivery to internal and external customers.
Manage daily MRP exception reports for Finished Goods while optimizing on-hand inventory and meeting service requirements. Execute all MRP exception messages (02,05,06,07,10,15,20,30,96).
Manually create deliveries for finished products to customer when necessary. Deal with ZPWL release blocks (ER, WR, MR, 61, 10). Update LRC - proactively update CC through ZPWL or ZBMT and visualize new confirmation dates in SAP. Manage future late: attempt to correct orders which were reconfirmed to later date than original confirmation date.
Maintain appropriate material master data in SAP (MRP Views).
Advises on availability date of finished products to Customer Service teams. Confirms all unconfirmed customer orders in SAP.
Leads continuous improvement activity, individually and with teams to impact planning KPIs.
For finished goods, perform root causes analysis of late deliveries in support of corrective actions needed to drive delivery improvement. Able to perform similar actions proactively for future demand. Drive stock fulfilment for preferred and standard parts.
Reduce Past dues, Manage Pull-ins and drive improvement actions
Review and manage long and short-term equipment and labor capacities for assigned resources using OEE information to ensure that capacities are updated and accurate and that run sizes are minimal and appropriate

What your background should look like
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Supply Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Management, or related Supply Chain functions.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments involving manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and operations is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Additional proficiency in the local language is considered an asset.
