Job summary

Cooper Standard Automotive in Torreón, Mexico is seeking a logistics-focused professional to manage the plant's raw material and finished goods flow, warehouse control, and shipping activities. You will coordinate inter-plant movements, shipments, and the handling of scrap, ensuring accurate inventory and adherence to client standards.

The role requires experience in automotive environments, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong knowledge of SAP ERP and warehouse processes.

Qualifications

Experience in automotive manufacturing environments.
Bachelor’s degree required; professional experience in logistics or manufacturing is preferred.
Knowledge of SAP ERP, inventory control and warehouse management.

Responsibilities

Manage the flow of raw materials to finished goods within the plant.
Maintain warehouse inventory accuracy (system vs. physical).
Coordinate movements between plants and shipments to customers (billing and shipping papers).
Oversee container and packaging flows; manage delivery of components to production areas.
Coordinate annual physical inventory and ensure compliance with established standards.
Maintain and operate warehouse equipment (forklift, tuggers, pallet jack).
Support 6’s in warehouses (quality and safety).
Ensure compliance with ISO/TS/NQI standards and client requirements such as IATF 16949.
Handle scrap reception/dispatch and material receipt for external processes.
Manage transactions in inventory systems (receipts, packing, adjustments, returns).
