Regal Rexnord is seeking a Materials Coordinator (Manager I, Purchasing) to oversee warehouse operations, maintain accurate inventory, and align material planning with production schedules at our onsite facility in Nuevo León.

You will collaborate with procurement and scheduling teams to optimize supplier costs, monitor inventory accuracy with Oracle, and ensure on-time shipments while upholding quality and safety standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Production planning experience: minimum of five (5) years in production or materials planning.
• Oracle Inventory Control expertise: proven mastery of inventory control and ERP systems like Oracle.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge to improve operational efficiency in materials coordination.

Materials Coordinator (internal title is Manager I, Purchasing)

Major Responsibilities and Authorities

Inventory Control Excellence

Coordinate and manage warehouse operations, ensuring accurate material control and inventory integrity to effectively meet customer demand.

Strategic Cost Negotiation

Leverage strong negotiation skills to secure optimal supplier costs, working closely with Corporate Procurement to optimize materials and sourcing strategies.

Supplier Evaluation And Improvement

Evaluate supplier performance and recommend continuous improvements based on quality metrics and on-time delivery performance to maintain high supplier standards.

Efficient Product Shipments

Coordinate product shipments to ensure on-time delivery, supporting customer requirements and maintaining a smooth and reliable supply chain flow.

Invoice Coordination

Manage supplier and customer billing processes to prevent internal credit retention issues, ensuring efficient and transparent financial transactions.

Supply Chain Alignment

Collaborate closely with production scheduling teams to align supply activities and ensure uninterrupted production operations.

Inventory Accuracy Maintenance

Maintain physical inventory accuracy aligned with Oracle system records, supporting efficient and reliable inventory management.

Performance Monitoring

Monitor key performance indicators such as material availability percentages and RK and PK performance metrics, promoting data-driven decision-making.

Compliance Excellence

Uphold and ensure compliance with business, quality, and safety regulations to maintain the highest standards of operational excellence.

Supplier Forecast Review

Conduct monthly reviews of key supplier forecasts, aligning materials planning strategies with customer demand and organizational objectives.

Oracle Parameter Management

Evaluate and update Oracle procurement and inventory parameters to optimize materials planning processes and improve data integrity.

These responsibilities highlight the Materials Coordinator's critical role in leadership of materials planning, supplier relationship management, and overall supply chain efficiency. The impact of this role is significant, ensuring material availability to meet customer demand while maintaining profitability and compliance standards.

Education / Experience / Skills Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Production Planning Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in production or materials planning, demonstrating a solid foundation in coordinating manufacturing schedules.
• Oracle Inventory Control Expertise: Proven mastery of inventory control processes and experience using Oracle or similar ERP systems to manage materials and inventory records.
• Lean Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles to improve operational efficiency and strengthen materials coordination processes.

Language Requirements

• Bilingual: English – Spanish (90% proficiency)
