Job summary

Google is seeking a Data Engineer for the Global YouTube Marketing team to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models that feed analytics and reporting. You will ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability across marketing data sources, enabling data-driven decision making.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Sales Services teams, integrate new metrics, and optimize data infrastructure to support evolving marketing needs and large-scale data processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Math or related field.
• 3 years of experience with data processing software and algorithms.
• Experience managing client-facing projects and cross-team collaboration.
• Experience with database administration or data engineering and coding in Java, C++, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models for marketing data sources.
• Integrate new metrics into core data marts and implement data quality checks and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical data solutions.
• Optimize data infrastructure and querying layers for performance and scalability.
