MillerKnoll seeks an experienced operations supervisor to lead a manufacturing department, driving safety, quality and productivity. You will guide continuous improvement efforts, implement Lean practices, and ensure ISO quality plan compliance while coaching a team toward peak performance.
You'll spend significant time on the shop floor, align with production goals, and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and disciplined problem solving across shifts.

Leads and manages an assigned department to achieve operational objectives (in areas such as safety, product quality, reliability, cost, continuous improvement, and employee morale) that align with and promote the achievement of Operations and the corporation's business strategy. Achieves results through successful leadership and team development, as well as effective planning, organization, implementation and execution.

Minimum of four years successful supervisory experience in an operations environment or at least four years of demonstrated success in a leadership role that has included directing the work of others with proven results. Refer to the Operations WTL Career Ladder for further information such as experience/skills requirements and an illustration of typical supervisory responsibility for each level.
Ability to express ideas effectively (verbally and nonverbal) with well developed interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated professionalism. Adept at resolving conflict in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to identify and understand issues and make appropriate decisions. Proficient in ISO quality systems fundamentals and Lean Manufacturing principles. Ability to effectively use office automation/communication software and tools used in the MKPS office environment. Critical competencies for this position include integrity and trust, customer orientation, job knowledge, decisiveness, relationship building, effective communication, systemic thinking, future focused, managing and developing talent, flexibility, innovation, and business knowledge.
