LEGO Group in Monterrey, NL, Mexico is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of 30+ operators, safeguard the brand and information, and drive production performance in close alignment with the daily plan.

You will develop people, manage safety and quality, collaborate with nearby plants, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while upholding LEGO values and policies across the operation.

Formación

This position will be close to the operation to be able to see at first hand how the day-to-day looks like, but also have the opportunity to have a wider scope and be able to propose new insights and projects that work for the whole process.

Leading a team of operators, the Supervisor ensures that the area meets its performance targets, ensuring the fulfillment of the production plan. The main challenges for this position are the collaborator management, people development, follow up the tactical implementation plan, ensure the brand protection and novelty confidentially and participation with other plants to share standard methodologies.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for promoting and ensuring the integrity of employees through security tools implemented in the organization (e.g. Proactive safety, risk place assessment, process confirmation, LOTO)
  • Ensure compliance of quality and safety standards (Product safety, QA Handbook, IMS)
  • Ensure and maintain production plan fulfillment, maximizing and optimizing resources and producing in sequence.
  • Follow up and compliance of area KPI’s, leading actions for control, improve or solve through root cause analysis and other LCI tools.
  • Maintain headcount according to area requirements, requesting, tracking and supporting training plan.
  • Execution of HR processes (IDP, Merit, PRP); evaluation of employees for permanent contracts and internal growth.
  • Responsible for generating a work environment based on the principles and values of the organization promoting people´s motivation and satisfaction.
  • Participation in the deployment of business strategy in their group, and improvements from the support function team.
  • Give support to continuous improvement program (LCI tools)
Do you have what it takes?
  • Production or Processing leader with experience leading minimum a group of 30 operators.
  • Leadership: Able to lead others and likewise, motivate staff and focus on himself and his team development, decision- making ability, high sense of belonging.
  • Communication: high communication skills to develop local and global relationships in his work area and motivate to the team.
  • Interpersonal skills: demonstrate a high level of collaboration, teamwork, focus on staff welfare, proactive and service attitude, high level of personal and professional ethics.
  • Capacity of analysis and problem solving.
  • Holistic and strategic vision to enable it to take decisions in the short and medium term.
  • PC medium level (office), projects execution, coordinated management system (safety and quality).
  • Work Shift 4x4 (6:00am to 6:00pm - 6:00pm to 6:00am)
  • 2 open roles

Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL This is not a remote position
