Cummins Inc. seeks a production supervisor to manage daily shop floor activities, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and coach a manufacturing team.

You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate cross-functional efforts with Quality and Maintenance, and lead problem-solving using Lean tools and 5 Whys.

Relocation support is available and the role is 100% on-site with some flexibility to optimize shift coverage.

Formación

• Enforce strict safety procedures and work instructions across all lines.
• Promote a culture of coaching, safety awareness, and self-care within the team.
• Monitor and report safety KPIs, escalating unsafe acts immediately.
• Supervise production line operations and drive hourly performance to meet daily plans.
• Identify operational deviations in real time and implement corrective actions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate daily shop floor manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards through proactive leadership, team management, and the implementation of continuous improvement methodologies.
• Promote a culture of coaching, safety awareness, and self-care within the team.
• Lead root-cause problem solving on the floor using 5 Whys and structured methods.
• Drive continuous improvement with Lean tools, 7 Wastes, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
• Monitor core KPIs such as OEE, scrap, downtime, and on-time delivery, escalating issues as needed.
