Job summary

Newell Brands in Acuña, Coahuila seeks an experienced Manufacturing Operations leader to strengthen production execution and frontline leadership.

This role will oversee daily performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory and people, directing Production Supervisors and driving Lean, TPM, and OEE initiatives while collaborating with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain and EHS to maintain safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years leading Production Supervisors or frontline teams.
• Experience in high-volume, multi-shift manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen and OEE.
• Hands-on problem-solving with A3, 8D, Root Cause Analysis or DMAIC.
• Experience with KPIs: production attainment, schedule adherence, throughput, FPY, scrap, rework, labor efficiency and overtime.
• Knowledge of standard work, daily management systems, tier meetings, and escalation processes.
• Experience driving scrap reduction, productivity, and cost optimization.
• Ability to partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Planning and EHS.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office; professional English.

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Operations leader to strengthen production execution and frontline leadership.

This position will be accountable for daily production performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory and People. The role will lead Production Supervisors, drive shop-floor operating routines and support Lean Manufacturing, TPM, OEE, productivity and waste-reduction initiatives.

The successful candidate will also serve as an operational delegate for the Manufacturing Manager when required, leading cross-functional escalations and making timely decisions to maintain safe, efficient and reliable production.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years leading Production Supervisors or frontline manufacturing teams .
• Experience in high-volume, multi-shift manufacturing operations .
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen and OEE .
• Hands-on experience with structured problem-solving methodologies including A3, 8D, Root Cause Analysis and/or DMAIC .
• Experience managing manufacturing KPIs such as production attainment, schedule adherence, throughput, FPY, PPM, scrap, rework, labor efficiency and overtime .
• Knowledge of standard work, daily management systems, tier meetings and operational escalation processes .
• Experience driving scrap reduction, productivity improvement, labor efficiency and manufacturing cost optimization .
• Proven ability to partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Planning and EHS .
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office .
• Professional English proficiency.
• Availability to work on-site in Acuña, Coahuila.
